wow from the picture that was a close call. Glad everyone is ok. very easy to see why the Khumbu icefall is so dangerous. How long will it take to repair the damage? It is nice to see that everyone is looking out for each other and how valuable teamwork truly is in your quest.

I'm very happy that everyone is safe! As I read the blogs and watch the videos I am constantly inspired by the passion I see in each of you as you pursue your dreams. I am also often reminded of the inherent danger you are all facing in this pursuit - and I admire every one of you for pursuing your dreams in the face of risk. Keep up the great job!

Glad to hear everyone is safe!! Thank you Peter, we enjoyed the day with your folks from RMI hiking around Mt. Rainier today wearing FIRST ASCENT!! The product ROCKS and we looked GREAT! What a nice bunch of people you have @ your store!! There was a rock slide at Paradise so we stayed below but a good time was had by all. On the way up on the bus, we watched Vertical Limits (we all clapped and cheered when ED was on sceen!!!) - and decided we would stick to regular trails rather than try to attach ourselves to rock faces with double ice axes!
Stay safe and climb carefully one step at a time.

This is a reminder that climbing mountains is inherently dangerous. Thanks for the honest update and please come home safe even if it means that you don't summit. Seeing your kids play little league is more important. Have you hugged your Sherpa lately!

Thank God no one was hurt or killed! That was one intense avalanche. Stay focused and rub the o'l rabbit's foot after that event. Very scary!
