This is incredibly awesome! I just wanted to wish the climbing party the best of luck...I was extremely fortunate to meet Ed, Dave, Melissa and all the Whittakers (Lou, Jim and Peter) at last year's Mt. Rainier Festival (I was the red-headed Sailor stationed on the aircraft carrier, but am now in Sicily). It was an amazing weekend and everyone was very kind, generous and patient. And to Eddie Bauer...I can't wait to place my first order for 'First Ascent' gear and start 'setting the trend' here in southern Europe!!!

Sorry. I read the earlier entries and you answered most of my questions. I should have started from the beginning. My bad.

Remember summiting is a two way trip. Live for the Climb. Somebody now famous said it.

Question: It would be nice to see information about the support guys, cameramen, logistics manager, cook, sherpas, etc. Who is your weather guy? Thanks and keep it coming; we're pulling for all of you.
